This document proposes a solution to help retired people in Belarus feel socially active and useful. It suggests integrating Airbnb into the popular Belarusian social network Odnoklassniki to allow pensioners to easily list spare rooms in their homes. This would provide retired people with extra income from hosting tenants while reducing loneliness through new social interactions. The process of becoming a mini-hotel owner would be turned into a simple game on Odnoklassniki to engage elderly users familiar with that platform. This could help challenge public perceptions that retired individuals are a burden by demonstrating how they can remain socially and economically contributing members of society.

SOLUTION In order to earn some money and do not feel so lonely, pensioners sometimes rent rooms in their houses to students, young professionals or even families Despite the fact that elderly spend more time on internet, they do renting in an old fashioned way: through newspaper or personal contacts To protect them from dishonest tenants and expand geography of their social contacts, together with the largest service on housing - AIRBNB.COM - we will offer retirees to become owners of a small, but cozy mini-hotel

HOW IT WORKS Airbnb in Odnoklassniki will be presented as a simple user-friendly game All that is needed for seniors is to install it on theirs page and start playing Game mechanics will simplify the procedure of registration on Airbnb.com and give elderly people the opportunity to search for tenants both in Belarus and abroad, to communicate with other owners of mini-hotels and even have competitions with each other
HOW IT WORKS All those who will book accommodation at seniors place will receive a special mark "Social responsible" at airbnb.com profile and get a $ 20 discount on the next booking
