The document discusses the notion that government control of television and newspapers to ensure fair and accurate reporting is contentious. It argues that if the government handles reporting, writers and journalists would lose freedom. Information should be reported based on a writer's style, and readers can decide what to trust. Government oversight does not guarantee fairness or accuracy. Government could also provide misinformation if they have total control. Citizens may seek information from foreign websites if their own country strictly controls media. While some media can promote violence, strict laws over information may not be the best solution and could undermine trust in government.

1. Television and newspapers should be placed under close government supervision to ensure that
reporting is fair, accurate, and high quality.
To what extent do you agree?
The notion that government have to control the information of television and newspapers is a
contentious proposition. Telecommunication and media play a crucial roles in our life today. People
tend to be believed when they collect the data from these resources, which have the greatest impact on
their behaviors.
The reality of the situation is that if the government handle these reporting, many people who are
working as writers, copywriters or journalists could be facedto the trouble is that they wont have the
freedom on their sides. It is of tremendous importance to understand that the root information should
be reported by the writers styles and the readers have their own permissions to trust or discard these
things. There are two sides for everything, a right one and a wrong one in the event that the
government supervisors could not determine how they are fair or accurate.
It must also be recognized that government could do the bad things or supply inaccurate information if
they have the totally control of contents on TV and newspapers. What will happen if there is something
wrong with government supervisors, their lives, in particularly. These conditions explain why people
were not interested in the information that is showed on their governments websites. A prominent
example of this principle is in democratic socialism countries, which used a hostile policies to control
information of their media networks. Their citizens usually connect to a foreign websites that have been
hosted in other countries, in which there are many groups of people discuss news.
Several caveat are in order. People nowadays intend to choose the violence TV programs and media
networks for their entertainment. Not yet able to distinguish between right or wrong, they often imitate
the violence they observed on TV and accept it as the normal way to behave towards others. As is
widely known, there are many problems occur to the social if young people get information these ways.
It is for that reason the strict laws should have been established to ensure that information is fair,
accurate, and high quality, which makes people believe on their government.
