George Tannenbaum has won numerous awards over his career spanning 10 years and 3 agencies for his work in marketing communications and advertising. Some of his notable wins include a Grand Effie award, 7 Effie Awards for effectiveness, a David Ogilvy Award, over two dozen Webbys and IAB awards, and a Gold and Diamond Echo award for his work on PeoplePC. - 1. Ten things I have won. _____________________________ 1. In 2001, I won a Grand Effie, the show’s highest award, as well as a Gold Effie for my work on IBM . 2. Communication Arts recognized my integrated campaign as one of the top campaigns of the year in 2004. 3. Across ten years and three agencies I have won a total of seven Effie Awards for effectiveness in marketing communications. 4. I won the David Ogilvy Award, Ogilvy & Mather’s highest award for best advertising campaign of the year. 5. I have won over two dozen Webbys, New York Festival Awards, and IAB awards for interactive work. 6. My work for PeoplePC won a Gold Echo. It also won a Diamond Echo— the highest award in Direct Marketing. 7. I have won well over a dozen Caples Awards, including Best Television Spot, Second Best Television Spot and Third Best Television Spot in the same year. 8. I won two Stanley Winston Awards, OgilvyOne’s recognition of best Direct Marketing campaign of the year. 9. I have won over a dozen other Echo citations. 10.
