THE FASHION IN THE 70‘S 70s' fashion took on a multitude of different styles and influences. In this period of time it started the disco fashion and continued the hippie style. In the '70s most people were wearing jeans, bell-bottoms, the corduroy, the prints and colorful in the garments. Both women and men wore platform shoes. In the 1970s the most popular hairstyles for a woman went shaggy hairdo, feathered hair and afro hairstyle.
THE FASHION IN 2014. Nowadays, we have returned to the fashion of the 90s. This fashionable long beards, jeans waist, short shirts, tight leggings and platforms.
Comparatives and Superlatives ◦ The fashion in the 70’s is a lot funnier than the current one. ◦ In the 70’s the jeans was longer than the current jeans. ◦ The hairstyles in the 70’s are less elegant that the hairstyles of 2014. ◦ In 2014, the people wear the smartest clothes that in the 70s. ◦ In 2014 the jeans are the shortest. ◦ In 2014 the best dress is the most expensive.
Personal opinion: ◦ Although, I never follow the fashion trends. I like more current fashion than the 70´s fashion. ◦ I don't like the 70's fashion because I would never use jeans bell-bottoms, platform shoes or flashy colours. ◦ Though you never know, maybe, in five years, the bell-bottoms come back.
