Mugo - Mugo felt nervous Mugo is a villager of Thabai His parents die when he is young Mugo is isolated and alone But he is drawn into the movement when Kihika comes to him for shelter from the British Symbol of resistance against the British He secretly betrays Kihika to his death and Nation
Ramayana - Vibhishana Vibhishana, also called Bibhishan, was the younger brother of Ravana, king of Lanka He is noble character and great devotee of Lord Rama Vibhishana had betrayed Ravana on the field of battle by supporting Rama The people of Lanka would have never accepted him as their King Even if Vibhishana is betrayer he is shown as a man who take side of truth
Mahabharat Karna was born to Kunti before her marriage Kunti betrayed her son Karna and all others too by not telling them the truth Likewise Karna knew during the Yudh, knew that he is the son of Kunti Indra betrayed Karna because he wants to protect his son. Indra asked Karna to give his Kavach and Kundal
Padmaavat - Raghav Chetan
History - Battle of Plassey The Battle of Plassey was a decisive victory of British East India Company over the Nawab of Bengal
Conclusion Though the motives may be different the element of betrayal is common to all narratives of freedom struggle whether mythical or real.
