This document introduces Twitter Bootstrap, an open-source front-end framework for building responsive, mobile-first sites and web applications. It discusses that Bootstrap includes CSS-based design templates for typography, forms, buttons, navigation, and other interface components, as well as optional JavaScript extensions for tabs, alerts, and other interactive elements. The document also lists many of the specific CSS and JavaScript components included in Bootstrap, such as grids, buttons, dropdowns, modals, and carousels.
