Bees are an important species of insect that lives in honeycombs and produces honey. They pollinate 70% of plants and are vital to fruit and vegetable production, as 60% would disappear without bees. Threats like industrial agriculture, monocultures, pesticides and climate change have endangered bees and could lead to economic impacts if bee populations collapse.
