Suspect #1: The Business Owner (Jaya)

Detective Jane: You had the means to support this school. But you didnt.
Why?
Jaya (smirks, leans back): Listen, detective. Charity doesnt pay the bills. I
run a business, not a daycare.
Detective Jane (examining a pile of unopened letters): Interesting. These
letters heresponsorship requests from the school. Seems like you had
plenty of chances to help.
Jaya (shrugs): I didnt think it was my responsibility. Shouldnt the
government handle that?
Detective Jane (holding up an envelope, reading aloud): Dear Local
Businesses, we humbly request donations for new books to replace outdated
materials" (pauses, looks at Jaya) You ignored this, didnt you?
Jaya (uneasy): Its not a crime to say no, detective. (fake smile sa ending)
Clue: A stack of unopened sponsorship request letters from the principal.
Suspect #2: The Neglectful Parent (Shenna)

Shenna (laughs, shaking head): Oh please. No one listens to parents at
those meetings anyway.
Detective Jane (flips open a folder, holds up an empty sign-up sheet):
No one listens because no one shows up. PTA attendanceempty. Field trip
chaperoneszero. Fundraisers? A ghost town.
Shenna (defensive): I had my own problems, detective.
Detective Jane: So did your child. But nobody was there for them.
Clue: A photo of an empty PTA meeting room.
Suspect #3: The Corrupt Government Official (Jacqueline)
[Setting: an office, stacks of untouched budget reports on desk.]
Detective Jane: The school needed funding. The principal sent requests.
Yet, nothing changed. Where did the money go?
Jacqueline (fake smile): Budget cuts happen, detective. Priorities shift.
Detective Jane (holding up a crumpled funding request): Or maybe,
someone shifted the money elsewhere.
Jacqueline (nervous chuckle): We cant fund every school.
Detective Jane (lowers voice, intense stare): You could have saved this
one.

Krisha (shrugs, avoids eye contact): Whats the point? We had nothing. No
good books, no after-school programs. No one cared about us, so we stopped
caring too.
Detective Jane (points to graffiti on the wall: 'Nobody cares about us.')
Maybe you werent the suspect. Maybe you were the victim.
Scene 3: The Shocking Revelation
Detective Jane gathers everyone in a dark classroom.
Detective Jane: The crime? Neglect. The victim? The future. And
the killer? ALL OF YOU.
(Flashback clips: Business Owner ignoring letters, Parent missing
meetings, Official rejecting funding, Student feeling abandoned.)
News Reporter Heula: A school doesnt collapse overnight. It
happens when a community lets it.
Scene 4: The Resurrection Plan
Detective Jane: But the story doesnt have to end here. Its not too
late to fix this.
