Using sports to redirect these at-risk youth, volunteer coaches model values and skills including goal setting, respect, cooperation and hard work. The coaches are cultivating the next generation of godly men to make a di鍖erence in their neighborhood. During the last two years, youth who have participated in the program have achieved an 89% graduation rate. Funds will be used to add additional teams to the existing football and basketball leagues, to expand into the baseball league and to purchase a 15- passenger van to help transport teams. Approximately 96 male youth ages 8 to 18 will be served over the three years.
