During those times, some Muslim traders living in Ceylon died and the ruler of Ceylon sent their widows and orphans back to Baghdad.

As the eight-ship caravan passed by the seaport of Daibul, pirates looted it and took the women and children prisoner.
Hajjaj demanded that Dahir return the Muslim captives and the looted items.
He also demanded that the culprits be punished.
Dahir said hat I have no control over the pirates and was, therefore, powerless to rebuke them.
Thus, in order to free the prisoners and to punish the guilty party, Hajjaj decided to undertake a huge offensive against Dahir.

Muhammad Bin Qasim first captured Debal, from where the Arab army marched along the Indus.
At Rohri he was met by Dahirs forces. Dahir died in the battle, his forces were defeated and Muhammad bin Qasim took control of Sind.
He continued his Victorious Progress in succession, Brahmanabad, Alor, Multan and Gujrat.
Now Muslims were the masters of whole Sindh and a part of Punjab up to the borders of Kashmir in the north.
He also established peace with a strong taxation system.
Hajjaj died in 714.
Suleman succeeded as the Caliph.
He was a bitter enemy of Hajjajs family.
He recalled Mohammad Bin Qasim from Sindh, who obeyed the orders .
When he came back, he was put to death on 715 AD at the age of twenty.

was instrumental in teaching Muhammad bin Qasim about combat and governance.
Because of the influence of Hajjaj, the young Muhammad bin Qasim was appointed the governor of Persia while in his teens.
During those times, some Muslim traders living in Ceylon died and the ruler of Ceylon sent their widows and orphans back to Baghdad.

As the eight-ship caravan passed by the seaport of Daibul, pirates looted it and took the women and children prisoner.
Hajjaj demanded that Dahir return the Muslim captives and the looted items.
He also demanded that the culprits be punished.
Dahir said hat I have no control over the pirates and was, therefore, powerless to rebuke them.
Thus, in order to free the prisoners and to punish the guilty party, Hajjaj decided to undertake a huge offensive against Dahir.

The ruler of Sindh Raja Dahir was staying in his capital Alor (Sukkur) about 500 kms. away.
Raja Dahir did not march to its defence immediately.
He conquered the Sindh and Punjab regions along the Indus River for the Umayyad Caliphate.
Muhammad Bin Qasim first captured Debal, from where the Arab army marched along the Indus.
At Rohri he was met by Dahirs forces. Dahir died in the battle, his forces were defeated and Muhammad bin Qasim took control of Sind.
He continued his Victorious Progress in succession, Brahmanabad, Alor, Multan and Gujrat.
Now Muslims were the masters of whole Sindh and a part of Punjab up to the borders of Kashmir in the north.
He also established peace with a strong taxation system.
Hajjaj died in 714.
Suleman succeeded as the Caliph.
He was a bitter enemy of Hajjajs family.
He recalled Mohammad Bin Qasim from Sindh, who obeyed the orders .
When he came back, he was put to death on 715 AD at the age of twenty.

Syed Ahmed Shaheed Bravely was a religious scholar born in 1786 in Rai Bareli, India who fought against British rule. He joined the army of Nawab Amir khan in 1810 and fought the British. Science Not Shared is Science Lost: Bridging the Gap Between Research and Impact 鏝
In the heart of Africa, where innovation meets resilience, lies an untapped reservoir of scientific brilliance. Yet, too often, groundbreaking research remains confined within the walls of journals, inaccessible to the communities it seeks to serve. This February, I am thrilled to join the "Science Communication Beyond Journal Publications" workshop at the Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) as one of the lead trainers. Together, we will unravel the power of storytelling, creative media, and strategic communication to amplify science's voice beyond academia.
Science is not just about discoveryit's about connection. Imagine a researcher in Kampala whose work could transform public health policy but struggles to translate their findings into actionable insights for policymakers. Or a young scientist in Nairobi whose groundbreaking study on climate resilience could inspire farmers but remains buried in technical jargon. These stories matter. They hold the potential to change lives and rewrite Africas narrative on poverty and development.
At this workshop, we will explore how scientists can collaborate with communicators to craft compelling stories that resonate with policymakers, communities, and global audiences alike. From podcasts that bring lab discoveries to life ｧ to press releases that spark media attention and digital tools that democratize knowledge we will empower participants to make their research accessible and impactful.
This mission aligns deeply with my belief that Africa MUST change the way it tackles poverty. Science communication is not just about sharing knowledge; it's about driving action. When researchers effectively communicate their work, they empower communities with solutions rooted in evidence. They influence policies that prioritize sustainable development. They inspire innovation that addresses grassroots challenges.
Let us humanize scienceinfuse it with stories of hope, struggle, and triumphand ensure it reaches those who need it most. Because when science connects with people, it transforms lives.

- 5. Quth-bud-din Aibak While coming to his homeland Muhammad Ghauri was murdered. He did not have any son so his solider Aibak became the king. He was the first Muslim king who started the sultanate of Delhi.
- 6. Illtutmish Aibak died while playing polo. His cousin Illtutmish became the king. He was a good administer. He regain the cities that were rebelled. his biggest mistake was that he gave power to the nobles.
- 7. Razia Sultana After the death of Illtutmish his daughter Razia became the queen. She was more powerful than her brother. After 4 years she was died because the Turkish officers did not like to be commanded by a woman.
