1. A TALK BY DR. ANTHONY T HIEBERT
THE HEAL ING
PROCESS
2. ACCUMULATED TRAUMA:
• The Body is Meant to Adapt to / Dissipate Forces
• Walking, Running, Movement, Working
• It is Possible to have Too Much or Too Many Forces
• Force all at Once (Trauma) or Over Time (Repetitive)
3. ACCUMULATED TRAUMA:
• Undissipated Forces MUST be Stored
• Forces will be Stored in LAYERS
• Most Recent Layers are at the Top
• Older Layers are Deeper Down
4. ACCUMULATED TRAUMA:
• Layers of Stored Trauma can be THIN (Cobwebs)
• Layers of Stored Trauma can be THICK (Dark Layers)
5. DARK LAYERS:
• Will Change the Body Stores incoming Tension or
Forces
• Will Send up ‘Reminder’ Bubbles
• Will Contain a Specific ‘Tone’
6. DARK LAYERS:
• NOTE: Layers can be Physical, Chemical, or Emotional
in Origin
• OPINION: Most Sickness and Compromise in People
is due to Unreleased Trauma
7. THE ADJUSTMENT :
• The Entire Purpose of the Adjustment is to Peel Back
the Layers
• Some Adjustments will Release several Layers, while
some Layers will take several Adjustments to Liberate.
8. THE HEAL ING PROCESS
• Three Stages will Occur as the Layers are Peeled Back
• RELIEF
• PLATEAU
• RESOLUTION
9. REL IEF
• Feels So Good
• Like Air being let out of an Overinflated Tire
• Practitioner is Wonderful
• (99% of Therapeutic Interventions Live here)
10. PLATEAU
• Migration of Pain Pattern (and other Patterns)
• Good Days and Bad Days
• Apparent Loss of Direction or Momentum
11. RESOLUT ION
• Re-Living of old Trauma (Retracing)
• All Senses can be included in Processing Forces that
couldn’t be Dissipated at the Time of the Trauma
• Often a Spike in Pain or Symptoms
• Feeling of Something ‘Coming’
12. FREEDOM
• When a Dark Layers is Removed, it is GONE
• The Body is able to Function as it is Supposed to
• A Person will React to Stressors Differently
• More Flexible (in ALL areas, not just Physically)
