Introduction

A mobile phone (also known as a cellular phone, cell
phone and a hand phone) is a device that can make
and receive telephone calls over a radio link whilst
moving around a wide geographic area.
History

Invented by Motorola. On April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper,

a Motorola researcher and executive, made the first analog
mobile phone call using a heavy prototype model.

The first hand-held mobile phone was demonstrated by Dr

Martin Cooper of Motorola in 1973, using a handset
weighing around 1 kg. In 1983, the DynaTAC 8000x was
the first to be commercially available.

Problems

Mr Cooper and his team faced the challenge of
squeezing thousands of parts into a phone for the
 first time.

The battery lifetime was 20 minutes.

Product innovation is the development of new

products, changes in design of established
products, or use of new materials or components
in the manufacture of established products.

Interactive Models

*Combination of market & technology push models,

integrated within firm, emphasis on external linkages.

Technology pull:
      Emphasis on R&D and sciences.

Market pull:
Emphasis on marketing, the market is sources of new
ideas for R&D.
Factors That contributed to the innovation

This cell technology was first used in mobile rigs which was
mainly used in taxis, police cars and other emergency
vehicles and situations. Truckers also used a form of this
technology to communicate with each other
Earlier Nowadays
Needs of wireless device to Increasing of internet user
communicate
Need a Smaller communication device, Technology increase
for easy movement
The benefits to society

 Easy to communicate with peoples.
Can communicates everywhere, anytime with a small
  device.
 Information can be shared fast.
With internet application, its increase the knowledge
  of the society.
Can be a management tools, for self and others.
Ways Forward

Having it all- Single device, that equipped with
  nowadays technology.
 Hologram screen .
Development of solar cell, environmentally friendly,
but also increase the use of mobile phone time.
Development of mini mobile phone, a woman can
wear in the ear of the mobile phone.
Conclusions

Appreciate the innovation ideas, is can bring big

 changes in the world.

Innovation models can show how firms obtain the

ideas, or cause of the innovative ideas.

An innovations, can be presented either tangible or

 intangible.
