2 Once upon a time in a small village there lived a kindhearted girl named Sara. One sunny morning while walking to the market, Sara noticed an old man sitting by the roadside looking sad and hungry. His clothes were tattered and he had a long white beard. 从前，一个小村庄里住着一位善良的女孩，名叫萨拉。一个阳光明媚 的早晨，萨拉在去市场的路上看到一位老人坐在路边，看上去又悲伤又 饥饿。他衣衫褴褛，留着长长的白胡子。
3 Sara approached him and asked, “Sir, are you okay? Do you need help?” The old man looked up and smiled weakly. He said, “I haven't eaten in two days, my dear.” Without a second thought, Sara took out her lunch which was delicious rice and vegetables and offered it to the old man. The old man gratefully accepted it and thanked her saying, “Your kindness will be rewarded.” 萨拉走近他问道：“先生，你还好吗？需要帮助吗？”老人抬起头，虚 弱地笑了笑。他说：“亲爱的，我已经两天没吃饭了。”萨拉想也没想 地拿出她的午餐，里面有美味的米饭和蔬菜，递给老人。老人感激地收 下，并感谢她说：“你的善举会得到回报的。”
4 Feeling happy Sara continued on her way. A few days later, as she was playing near the river, she slipped and fell into the water. She struggled to stay afloat and just when she thought she would drown, the old man appeared out of nowhere; he reached out his hand and pulled Sara to safety. Sarah was shocked and felt very grateful. 萨拉开心地继续赶路。几天后，她在河边玩耍时滑倒掉进水里。 她挣扎着浮在水面上，就在她以为自己会被淹死的时候，老人 突然出现，伸出手把萨拉拉到安全的地方。萨拉很震惊，非常 感激。
5 “Thank you Sir,” she said to the old man. “How did you find me?” The old man smiled and said, “I am not just an old man. I am a fairy who was blessed by your kindness, your good deed. You gave me food when I was in great hunger.” From that day on, Sara learned that kindness is a powerful force that not only helps others but also brings unexpected rewards. The villagers admired her even more and Sara continued to spread kindness knowing that it always comes back in beautiful ways. 萨拉开心地继续赶路。几天后，她在河边玩耍时滑倒掉 进水里。她挣扎着浮在水面上，就在她以为自己会被淹 死的时候，老人突然出现，伸出手把萨拉拉到安全的地 方。萨拉很震惊，非常感激。
