HARVEY GOLDSTEIN
Introduction
 A longtime business leader, Harvey Goldstein has guided PT Harvest
International Indonesia for more than three decades. As chairman, he
has been responsible for directing billions of U.S. dollars into U.S.-
Indonesia trade and investment. A graduate of the Polytechnic
Institute of Brooklyn (now the NYU Tandon School of Engineering),
Harvey Goldstein received the universitys Outstanding Electrical
Engineering Alumnus Award in 1993 for his efforts in Indonesia and
elsewhere throughout Southeast Asia.
One of the oldest, most prestigious engineering schools in the
United States, the NYU Tandon School of Engineering serves more
than 5,000 students at its main Brooklyn campus. In addition to
offering a challenging curriculum that prepares students for careers
in the engineering field, Tandon supports its alumni through the
Polytechnic Alumni Association (PAA).

 To honor Tandon students who have gone on to achieve
significant accomplishments after graduation, the PAA
maintains an alumni awards program that offers recognition
in two categories. The first of these, the Distinguished
Alumnus/a Award, recognizes graduates who have made
major contributions to the engineering and technology fields
as engineers, scientists, or entrepreneurs. The second
category, the Dedicated Alumnus/a Award, honors alumni
who have exhibited dedication to the PAA or to the school of
engineering.
Tandon alumni are invited to submit nominations for either
