- 2. 2 nicos.kourounakis@PM²alliance.eu About the Speaker Nicos Kourounakis - MBA, PM² President of the PM² Alliance Methodology Expert & Consultant Nicos is a professional Project Management Consultant & Trainer. Over the past 10 years, he has been leading consulting projects at major EU Institutions such as the European Commission, the European Council, the European Central Bank, the European Investment Bank, the European Parliament and several EU Agencies, but also with many private and public organisations. He has also been involved in many international projects in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxembourg and across Europe, working both with large organizations and with smaller ventures and start-ups. Nicos is the Co-Author of the PM² Methodology (2012, 2016, 2018) and Agile PM² Guidelines (2014), the PfM² Portfolio Management Methodology (2021), the PgM² Programme Management Methodology (2022), and a founding member of the PM² Alliance and the PM² Foundation. He holds an MBA from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, a MASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria, Canada, and a BSc in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has also achieved many Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA-D and PM² and Agile PM².
