The revolemon-story
1. Let us tell you how we started and
where we are now.
(Because everyone and everything
deserves a chance to improvement)
2. What
triggered us?
The neglected neighborhoods
The dirty streets
The endless grey spread all
around the city
The offensive messages sprayed
in the walls
That image for certain is depressing The colorless cities are not the
reason that people smileWe want more smiles to be formed every day
just from the view of a painting in a wall full with color and art. With this
vision, we attempted to contribute to the creation of merrier
neighborhoods.
3. OUR JOURNEY
STEP 1
OPENIDEO: Getting tools for our venture (brainstorming
toolkit, user experience map, prototype worksheet)
4. STEP 2
SOCIAL MEDIA: We created social platforms in the world of
internet, in order to share our thoughts and actions
6. STEP 3
PURSUIT OF THE DISTRICT OF ACTION: We searched for
the specific area that we would work on. The quarter that
we had chosen is Zografou and specifically a park which is
in front of the primary school. Here it is its former
appearance.
7. STEP 4
THE LEGAL PERMISSION REQUEST FROM THE
MUNICIPALITY: Even though we faced some difficulties in
regard to get the permission in time and the mayors rejection
of collaboration with our team due to municipalitys
workload, 3 weeks after our request we managed to get the
legal proof that we are ready to actualize our plan.
8. STEP 5
SPONSORSHIPS: Attempted communication & collaboration with
Vivechrom, Vechro colors, Technochrom S.A, Vitex, Berling,
Chrotex, Iliochrom ABEE
Local hardware stores
BUT...REQUEST DENIED!!!!
10. FEEDBACK FROM ZOGRAFOU RESIDENTS
The adult
residents
who
witnessed
our action
and its
result, were
impressed
and some of
them even
thanked us.
The students were really
excited when they saw the
painted walls and
realized that, that would
be the image of the park
from now on
