Tarla and her dog Kia went out to fly a kite on a windy day. When a storm started, they tried to run home but did not make it before a tornado came and lifted them into the sky. Tarla grabbed Kia and the kite as they spun dizzily until a gust of wind safely returned them to the ground near their house. They ran inside as the storm shook the windows and doors, fearing they would break, until Tarla's mother came and hugged them after the storm passed.

The Storm
One windy day a girl named Tarla and her dog named Kia went out to fly their kite. But when they got out of their house it felt cold but they still went on.
Then when they started to fly the kite a storm started to come. They ran as fast as they could but they did not make it home.
Kia looked up to the sky and saw leaves swirling around in the air. Kia barked Run to the house. Tarla said Good idea Kia.
Then a tornado came and took them into the sky.
Tarla grabbed the kite and she picked up Kia and got very dizzy . Then a big gust of wind came and carried then safely to the ground.
Then they saw their house and they ran to it . They jumped into bed and waited for the storm to stop but then.
and doors started shaking The windows and doors started shaking and they thought that the windows and doors would come off .They cried help us.
When they looked they saw the big mess and Tarlas mum came out and was very cross because there was a big mess inside but she gave Tarla a hug and patted Kia . They all helped clean the mess up and in a few hours they had the house very clean. The End
