- 12. What are the benefits? Flexible Embed code or plugin. xAPI compatible. Rapid Fast and easy authoring tool. Supports users with minimal multimedia / instructional design skills. SAMR - Substitution Easy transition to technology- enhanced learning for those new to online Low Cost It¡¯s free! Low risk Using embed code requires some sensitivity to data security / privacy but otherwise low risk. Open Source Growing community developing new content types & providing support
- 13. Any drawbacks? ¡ðLimited options within each content type ¡ðBe mindful of data security, privacy and your IP when using the embed code option ¡ðxAPI requires additional plugins
- 14. Domain Goup & Fairfax Media Rapid authoring of microlearning when higher production not justified. Add interactivity for engagement and stickiness. ACU Build capability in online learning design, development and delivery amongst academic staff. Why use it?
