The Word Could you imagine being one of only three disciples invited to experience the Mount of transfiguration, now think how you could relate this to your peers and be believed. The blessing of having Gods word in writing is no one can accuse you of trying to sell an imagined fairy tell.
I. The word of God 2Pet 1:16-20 16) For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17) For he Christ received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him Christ from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
18) And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him Christ in the holy mount. Mount of transfiguration Mat 17 19) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; Than the voice which came from heaven whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. Take heed to the scripture over a voice from heaven Jer 23:28 28) The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully.
What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD. Isa 8:19-20 19) And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20) To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
II. The words of God Jer 26:2 2) Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word: Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 1Cor 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 2Pet 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of

Eternal Ps 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Matt 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Light 1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Ps 119:105 NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Spirit John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Judge 2Tim 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

True Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Faithful 1Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. Living in Heaven Eccl 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few. Ps 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Blasphemed 1Kgs 21:10 And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst
blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die. Titus 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. Pure Ps 18:26 With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward. Ps 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Holy 1Pet 1:6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 2Tim 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
