Ignorance Crucified Him. (Luke 23:34; Acts 3:17) • Ignorance is inexcusable. (Acts 17:23,30). • Ignorance is dangerous. • Saul. (Acts 26:9; 23;1; 1 Tim. 1:13). • Israel. (Hos. 4:6; Rom. 10:1-4). • Ignorance is correctable. • Study (2 Tim. 2:15; Acts 11:17). • Meditation. (Ps. 1:2). • Application. (John 8:31,32).
Betrayal Crucified Him. (Matt. 26:14-16,24,25,47-50). • Judas betrayed Him. (cf. Psa. 41:9) • Hypocritically (kiss). • Greedily (30 pieces of silver.) • Brethren betray Him. • For pleasure (cf. Heb. 11:25). • For peace. (cf. Luke 12:51-53) • For greed. • For passion. • For pride.
Hatred Crucified Him. (John 7:1;15:18-25). •Hatred because evil exposed. (John 3:19). •Hatred is a work of the flesh. (Gal. 5:20)
Envy Crucified Him. (Matt. 27:18). • Envy from without hinders cause of Christ. • Of success. (Acts 13:44,45). • Of standards. • Envy from within hinders cause of Christ. • Factions. (1 Cor. 1:10-13; 3:1-3). • Backbiting. • Pettiness
Lying Crucified Him. (Matt. 26:59-61). •General lies. (Rev. 21:8). •Religious lies. (2 Thess. 2:10-12). •Would our society, culture have cried, "Crucify Him"? •Are you "crucifying Him afresh" by the above sins? •Would you have cried, "Crucify Him"?
