The poem discusses the different perspectives on whether love lives on or ends. While some say love is eternal and never dies, others argue love does have an end at times. Love is described as a strange and complex emotion that can both live and die, stay or vanish, forming connections and also causing hurt. Overall, the poem suggests that as long as humans exist, love will persist in our lives and experiences, sometimes feeling like a blessing and other times like a curse.

They Say
1. They Say
It’s true they say,
That love never dies.
As true as they say
Love never did die.
But some do say
That love has end,
As true as they say
Some love did end.
So strange love is,
It lives and it dies
It stays and vanishes
It forms and crushes.
But they still say
Even love ends and vanishes away
It still lingers and makes us sway;
It seems that love lives always.
Some say it’s a curse!
That as long as humans are
Love will be here
At times an angel,
Devil at the other.
