This document discusses 5 issues with designing user experiences across multiple devices: 1) The need for holistic design rather than focusing on individual devices, 2) Organizing information into task-based and context-based sub-collections tailored for specific devices, 3) Accommodating newer types of information, 4) Enabling lightweight capture of information, and 5) Leveraging the social nature of personal information by allowing it to spread across devices through "information osmosis".
