PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
August HuDdle
Sunday August 2 was the HuD Group’s monthly HuDdle. The family was privileged to have Mr.
Ekow Mensah (Founder and CEO- The African Network of Entrepreneurs) taking them through a
career development training on the topic “Building A World Class Organization”.

The Life Development Academy- LiDA
On August 7, the Life Development Academy of The HuD Group kicked off with Mr. Anthony
Larbi, Youth Pastor at the Royal House Chapel introducing participants to the Laws of Leadership.
On Friday the 14th of August, the second session of the LiDA module on Public Speaking was
coached by Mr. Jeremiah Buabeng at the Mine, Legon.
Saturday August 15, three modules of the Life Development Academy courses were run. The
modules, “Proposal Writing”, “C.V Writing” and “Interview Skills” were facilitated by Dr. Joe
Amoah, Dr. Freda Dodd-Glover and Mr. Gamel Sankarl respectively.
On Saturday August 8, three modules of the personal development training under the Life
Develoment Academy were sat for. The modules “Public Speaking”, “Personal Mission Statement”
and “Proposal Writing” were facilitated by Miss Malvina Esinam Quist and Miss Kate Nkansa
Dwamena respectively. The “Public Speaking” module was supposed to have been coached by Mr.
Walter K. Awuah, who was however hospitalized at the moment thus Miss Quist had to step in on

his behalf.
On Friday August 28, the C.V Writing module was facilitated by Mrs. Affi Agbenyo-Agorsu she
took the participants through some insightful technical details of putting together a complete and
competitive curriculum vitae.
Saturday 29th August saw three modules of the Life Development Academy course running. The
modules, Entrepreneurship, Financial Whizzdom and Interview Skills were facilitated by Mr. Delali
Klu, Mr. Lawrence Larweh and Mr. Joseph Nanor respectively.
On September 4th, the former Ag. CEO of The HuD Group, Mr. Hayford Ayerakwa led a class on
Developing a Personal Mission Statement at The Mine, Legon.

LiDA II came to a close on Saturday 5th September with 3 final modules. An associate of The HuD
Group, Mr. Kwamina Sagu Ekremet coached a session on Financial Whizzdom, followed by a
module on the Laws of Leadership by Mr. Terry Mante, the CEO of PEDNET. Mr. Kofi Awuku-Sao
took the final session on Entrepreneurship. The commencement speaker for the closing ceremony
was Mr. John Armah, a serial entrepreneur and a business consultant who challenged the LiDA
graduands to identify what they can do and start early. A certification followed suit.
TIME WITH A LEADER
On Saturday the 22nd of August, the third week of Life Development Academy (LiDA), the
participants were treated to an inspiring and interactive session with a very self-motivated man of
Godly influence, Mr. Godwin Martey (C.E.O of Websoft Ghana Limited). He shared his life’s
journey and the lessons he has learnt along that road with the participants most of whom were
touched by the humbling nature of his experiences.

VOLUNTEER ENRICHMENT
On August 20, the C.E.O of The HuD Group held a volunteer enrichment for facilitators for the
year’s TeenPreneurship conference. The Volunteer team was taken through requirements for
fulfilling the requirements and the expectations of the conference.
MONTHLY HuDdle
The re-launched monthly HuDdle of the HuD Group came off on the 6th of September at the Mine,
Legon. The event saw Dr. Isaac Newman Arthur speak on “The Pursuit of Purpose”, charging each
participant of the HuDdle to ensure that every activity they engage in on a daily basis is in tune
with their God given purpose. Gracing the occasion with his presence, the co-host of Joy FM’s
Super Morning Show, Mr. Nhyira Addo gave a presentation on the “Making of a Rainmaker”.
Members of the HuD Group as well as prospective members benefitted awesomely from these two
God-driven inspiring men of Godly influence.

LEADERSHIP DINNER WITH DR. YAW PERBI
On the 23rd of September, the HuD Group Ghana hosted the Global C.E.O Dr. Yaw Perbi and his
wife Anyele, at a Leadership Dinner Discourse held at Royal Jade Restaurant. The Global CEO and
his spouse honored the discourse with a discussion on keeping love aflame in relationships, raising
children in a Godly way and global missions.
NATIONAL YOUTH RALLY
This year’s “National Youth Rally” was held at the Accra Technical Training Center (ATTC) on July
1st 2015. The event which was organized by the Scripture Union (SU) of Ghana with support from
The HuD Group and the Bible Society of Ghana for the youth of Ghana. The occasion was graced
by dignitaries including the Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana and Rev. Daniel Ogbame Tetteh
(Exec. Dir. of Databank Assets Management). C.E.O of The HuD Group Ghana (Dr. William
Okyere-Frempong) inspired and challenged the 2800 students who were in attendance to national
leadership and influence.

LEADPRENEUR CHARITY PROJECT
PANTANG READS
July 23rd >>Volunteers from The HuD Group were at the Pantang Hospital Drug Treatment and
Rehabilitation Center (P.H.D.T.R.C) for a two day reading project organized for the residents of the health
facility. This saw Mr. Agbenyo Elikem take the residents through a personal development session on
“Purpose Discovery and Goal Setting”.
July 24th >> REHAB READS; The HuD team ushered in the second phase of the Reading Project dubbed
“P.H.D.T.R.C READS”. The residents were engaged in small groups for reading and discussions based on a
HuD publication “Youth Power in Soweto” by the Global C.E.O, Dr. Yaw Perbi. This forms part of the
Leadpreneur Charity Project being undertaken by the HuD Group. The Charity Project has 5 components
namely: A personal leadership development session, Weekly ICT training program, Library project, A
reading club, A vocational skills training session and a fund.

INSPIRE AN ORPHAN
On Thursday September 24, team members from The HuD Group Ghana spent time with the kids
at Good Shepherd Orphanage in Kasoa Ofankor for the National Volunteers Day. The children
were introduced to the concept of SHAPE, then mentored in various careers. The HuD team also
played educational fun games with the kids as well as providing one-on-one mentoring for the
children. Ten books were donated by The HuD Group to furnish their library to enrich their
reading life.

6-2-6 GOD-CHASING RETREAT
The HuD Group Ghana held its annual 6-2-6 God Chasing, Prayer and Fasting Retreat at the
Akuafo Hall Chapel, University of Ghana- Legon on July 11. The retreat was graced with
inspirational speakers- Rev.Patrick Otieku-Boadu, Rev. Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, Author Ralph Antwi,
Mrs. Jennifer Agyeman , Rev. Dr. Solomon Nortey among others.
PERSONAL LEADERSHIP SUNDAY @ TEMA.
August 8 saw Dr. William Okyere-Frempong at the Life Exploits Ministry, Tema. He led a personal
development session on “Leadership Essentials”.
PERSONAL LEADERSHIP SUNDAY @ TESHIE NUNGUA
The C.E.O of The HuD Group Ghana was at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Teshie-Nungua Estate on
August 9. He ministered to the congregation a message entitled “Taking Turns” which dealt with
the death of Discipleship in our Church today.
He was there again on the 20th of September. The congregation was blessed with a sermon from
this inspirational man of Godly influence. Addressing the church, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong

ministered on a message entitled “Tax-timony; Running with Zacchaeus”.
PERSONAL LEADERSHIP SUNDAY @
On the 30th of August the Calvary Baptist Church hosted the C.E.O of The HuD Group Ghana at
their Purpose-Driven Youth Chapel. Dr. William Okyere-Frempong honoring the occasion
delivered a sermon entitled “The Gospel Glows” to the uplifting of the congregation.
TEAMDERSHIP TOUR
OSU ROTARY CLUB
On the 30th of July, the C.E.O of The HuD Group Ghana was a speaker at the Osu Rotary Club at the
UDS Guest House, Osu. He delivered a message on “Leadership Essentials for Every Level”.
OSEI-KUSI FOUNDATION
On the 4th of August, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong, C.E.O of The HuD Group Ghana was hosted
by the Osei-Kusi Foundation at their office premises in Accra, where he ran a Relationship/Life
coaching for the staff and volunteers of the organization.

LEKMA POLYCLINIC
On the 7th of August the C.E.O of The HuD Group, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong ran a personal
development training for the staff of LEKMA Polyclinic at their Staff Development Friday Session.
He took his staff through a self-development course on “Temperament and Team Building”.
CAPITAL BANK
Friday the 4th September, saw the C.E.O of the HuD Group Ghana facilitate an executive coaching
for First Capital Plus Bank (now Capital bank), “Speed Banking” Supervisors. Dr. William Okyere-
Frempong took them through presentations on “Leadership Development”, “Managing Teams”
and “Achieving Peak Performance”.

EMERGING LEADERS OUTREACH
FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT OF THE YOUTH
On July 18th, the Director of The HuD Institute, Mr. Walter K. Awuah was at the Emmanuel Gospel
Ministries, Abeka as the keynote speaker during their Youth Week Celebrations. He engaged the
youth of the Ministry in an educative workshop on “Financial Empowerment of The Youth”
MEDICS WITH PURPOSE SUMMIT
The CEO of The HuD Group Ghana, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong graced the podium at the “Medics with a
Purpose Summit 2015” organized for all final year students of NMTC, SOH, SAHS, UGMS and UGDS at
Korle-bu, Accra on July 19. He delivered a message on “Leading the Change at Work”.
METHODIST UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
Dr. William Okyere-Frempong was an inspiration to the Music Ministry of the Methodist Church
Ghana (Accra Diocese) at the Methodist University College Ghana on July 31. The C.E.O of The
HuD Group Ghana delivered an awesome presentation on “How to Handle Leadership Roles
Wherever You Find Yourself”.
EAGLE OUT ACHIEVERS CONCLAVE
On the 19th of September Dr. William Okyere-Frempong was a guest speaker at Author Raphaelle
Antwi’s EAGLE OUT ACHIEVERS CONCLAVE, where he took the participants through a
personal development session on “Making Global Impact”.

MID-YEAR STRATEGIC EXECUTIVE MEETING;
The leadership of The HuD Group Ghana held its annual Mid-year retreat at the University of
Ghana, Legon on July 12th. The meeting was a period for strategic planning. It also served as a
reminder of the vision and to seek the face of the Maker to draw strength for the next lap of the race
ahead.
MEDIA OUTREACH
Dr. William Okyere-Frempong, CEO of The HuD Group Ghana was at the Springboard “VIRTUAL
UNIVERSITY” on Joy FM 99.7 on Sunday the 20th September where he engaged the listeners of the
radio station in an Educative session on “HEALTH MANAGEMENT”.

DONATION FROM GLOBAL OFFICE
On behalf of The HuD Group Canada, Dr. Yaw Perbi presented a new laptop and a projector to Dr.
William Okyere-Frempong who received it on behalf of The HuD Group on the 23rd of September.
The laptop and projector will go a long way to aid us in our presentations around the country. Dr.
Okyere-Frempong took the opportunity to thank the global office for the kind gesture and
welcomed same from other companies, groups and individuals.
COLLABORATION
TEENpreneurship 2015
From August 24 to 28, facilitators from The HuD Group served as coaches at the
TEENpreneurship 2015 Writing Clinic. TEENpreneurship is a national leadership and
career mentoring nonresidential camp organized by Legacy & Legacy for teens. The
volunteers served in many roles, from ushering to emceeing to coaching to marking

assignments. It was a learning time for the teens, as they learnt new knowledge and skill in
authorship and publishing.
GOD as CEO Conference
In an era where the world seeks to impose ungodly conditions to funding and charity, it calls for a
need for the church to empower their own to run successful businesses which will provide means
to push the gospel everywhere. The HuD Group in conjunction with Hephzibah Christian Centre
and several groups hosted the GOD AS C.E.O conference at the Calvary Baptist Church
auditorium, Shiashi on August 1, 2015. Guest speakers were Rob White (Vice (President, Mosquito
Squad, Outdoor Living Brands) and Doug Dwyer (President and Chief Stewarding Officer of
DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen). GOD AS CEO is an event that seeks to introduce participants to the
greatest business consultant around.

Monday the 21st of September saw Dr. William Okyere-Frempong (C.E.O of The HuD Group

On the 27th of September the country CEO of the HuD Group, Dr. William Okyere-Frempong was
at “ROLE MODEL AFRICA” organized by INVENTS. Dr. William Okyere-Frempong had the
privilege of hosting the premiere of this corporate dialogue and coaching discourse forum. The
guest role model was Dr. Samuel Onwona (former World Bank Official).
