My personality. #LoveChallenges. I tend to jump on anything that challenges me and makes me wonder "hmm...how would I approach that problem". This is how I keep my grey cells active.
This is how I got the opportunity to be a product manager for Heroku, this is how Chatter.io & Metadata.io were born.
As a wise man once said #Stayhungrystayfoolish !!!!
I among a few others am "the guy who know this other guy who knows this other guy that can help you with this thing". Fostering networks and collaboration over time will make me a #SmartKnowledgeWorker and redundant and move on to more fun things.
I hence often act as a "knowledge service broker".
Building my #PersonalBrand. If there's one thing that matters (internal & external facing) it is your personal brand. @John Durocher gave a great talk a while back about this and I continue to follow the core principles from that talk.
Chatter allows me to represent me and what I bring to the table. Start building your personal brand !!!!
I get inspired and learn from visionaries like @Peter Coffee, @Charlie Isaacs, @Parker Harris @Marc Benioff and many many more. I use their comments/perspectives in my customer discussions to inspire them to transform their businesses. My best example is @Peter Coffee's analogies for Private & Public cloud and 3 words to explain Cloud computing. #ZeroOneInfinity
Your biggest strength is your network on chatter. Chatter = Continuous learning & Inspiration !!!
#SelfPromotion and #ShamelessPlug for my alter-ego who is a hard core hacker on the platform and cooks up crazy ideas in his secret lab ;-). This ties back to building a #Personalbrand. I've been getting good traction with Apextimeline (https://apextimeline.herokuapp.com) and my org diff tool DotVersion (https://dotversion.herokuapp.com) thanks to Chatter.
