This document discusses a rubric for assessing a student's performance on an activity about rocks and the rock cycle. The rubric contains 8 items that require the student to self-assess whether they identified the purpose of listening, used appropriate listening strategies, focused on understanding, felt engaged with the activity, understand the rock cycle and features, can retell information about rocks and types, can use English to talk about rocks, and feel proud of their work. The student is to tick boxes for no or yes for each item and tally their score to evaluate their performance.
