There are 18 fourth grade students, of which 10 are male and 8 are female. 13 students are white and 5 are African American. The students will use Pinterest, Glogster, and a WebQuest to research and present information about endangered species in the Amazon with 90% accuracy. They will review instructor Pinterest boards, add to a Glogster presentation, and complete a WebQuest activity. Students will discuss endangered species and be evaluated on their Glogster presentation and WebQuest work. The teacher will assess the students' ability to use Pinterest and Glogster.

S- The fourth grade students will name and describe endangered species of animals in the
Amazon with 90% accuracy by the end of the lesson.
S- Media and materials to be used will be the Web 2.0 application Pinterest and Glogster. A
WebQuest will also be used.
U- Students will review the instructors Pinterest boards about the Amazon Rainforest, as well
as explore other Pinterest boards to gather information to place in a Glogster presentation.
Students will complete the WebQuest activity.
R- Students will create a Glogster presentation using information gathered on Pinterest.
Students will engage in discussions with each other, facilitated by the teacher, about the
endangered species. Students will complete the WebQuest activity.
E- Students will be evaluated on the information in the Glogster presentation and how well
they met the WebQuest guidelines. Throughout the lesson, I will be determining if Pinterest
and Glogster are sites the students can use with ease to determine if I should change the
mediums chosen for this lesson.
