Thursday:
Analyze the Learners:
- 20 7th grade students, (13 girls, 7 boys)
- 5 White, 10 Latino, and 5 African American.
- 1/3 of the class is considered visual learners, another 1/3 are hands on learners,
and finally the other 3rd are book learners.
Main Objectives:
The students will be asked to question me about any concerns they may have with
their Webquest assignment or how to use hashtags. I will also use today’s class time
to introduce them to a new assignment, creating a blog. The students will use
Blogger to create a blog detailing what their favorite works are from Michelangelo.
The students will be required to respond to 5 of their peer’s blog posts as well. This
assignment will be due along the same time as their Webquest. 100% of the
students will be able to successfully navigate through and create a blog on Blogger
by the end of the class period.
Breakdown:
- Discuss any problems they may have with their Webquest
- Assign them to blog about what they believe are Michelangelo’s most
impressive works. All students must reply to at least 5 other blogs.
