TiEcon is the largest conference for entrepreneurs hosted by TiE, an organization founded in 1992 to foster entrepreneurship globally. TiEcon Pune 2013, the first hosted in Pune, aims to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry to generate entrepreneurial ideas and discussions to help build entrepreneurship in the Pune region. The conference will explore future technologies, business models, industries, and the internet, helping entrepreneurs and investors assess opportunities. It will be held on March 30th at the Hyatt Regency in Pune for 400-500 attendees, including entrepreneurs, corporate innovators, startups, investors and industry professionals.

- 2. Introduction TiE The Indus Entrepreneurs Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley by a group of successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus region. Currently 13,000 members, including over 2,500 charter members in 61 chapters across 17 countries. TiEs mission is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, and education. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiEs focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.
