Recently we have been asked why we created TimeHub and who it is for, so we have created this brief slideshare to answer these questions. Basically, our view is that time sheets are a relic of a bygone era and they should be banned. There is a better way.

WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS WITH THESE MANUAL SYSTEMS? They are inherently error prone. They are time consuming and require multiple touch points to process the data. They create a sense of mistrust. They require humans to apply the business rules. They are inflexible. They were designed for a different era. They make it hard for employers to be compliant with the ERA and Holidays Acts

Now your staff can manage their Time and Attendance from any Tablet or Smartphone.
THE TIMEHUB TEAM APP: Designed for groups The TimeHub Team app has been designed to be used by multiple employees and can be used in a fixed or mobile scenario. It will run on an iOS or Android tablet or smartphone. Each employee has a unique code which translates to their payroll code.
THE TIMEHUB TEAM APP: Can be used by your staff anywhere! The TimeHub Team app interface has been designed for employees to clock themselves in and out or for a supervisor/manager to clock a group of employees. The TimeHub Team app is also ideal for use in places where having a traditional timeclock is not practical ie a vineyard or orchard
THE TIMEHUB TEAM APP: No Buddy Punching with Photo ID The TimeHub Team app has been designed to take an employee's photo when they clock in or out (if required) and this is stored along with the GPS location of the device. This data can be viewed in the TimeHub Employer Portal for every employee's clock.
THE TIMEHUB TEAM APP: No Double Clocking As with the TimeHub Personal App, once an employee has clocked, they are unable to clock for 60 seconds and then for the next 2 minutes if they try they are warned they have already clocked.
THE TIMEHUB PERSONAL APP: GPS Locates the employee Designed for use by an employee on their smartphone or tablet. Employees can select the company they wish to log into. The app will GPS Locate the employee to ensure you know where they are when they clock and this is recorded each time they clock.
THE TIMEHUB PERSONAL APP: Intuitive Single Button Design. Once the employee selects their company they clock using our intuitive single button design. There is no need to decide if they are clocking in or out as this is handled by the rules you set up in your TimeHub Employer Portal.
THE TIMEHUB PERSONAL APP: No double clocking! Once the employee has clocked they are unable to clock again for 60 seconds and then for the next 2 minutes if they try to clock they are warned they have recently clocked. They can also see the date and time they last clocked.
THE TIMEHUB EMPLOYER PORTAL - AUTOMATIC CALCULATIONS The secret to automating your employee time & attendance and payroll processing, is the way TimeHub analyses and processes your data from the TimeHub Apps. This is handled by our TimeHub Employer Portal
THE TIMEHUB EMPLOYER PORTAL- RULES BASED TO REDUCE MANUAL CALCULATIONS The TimeHub Employer Portal allows you to set up rules which to match your employment agreement and company policies. These rules are applied to the incoming clock data to manage Rounding, Rosters, Breaks, Leave, Overtime etc. which removes the need for you to work these out manually.
THE TIMEHUB EMPLOYER PORTAL - RULES ARE FLEXIBLE TO MEET YOUR NEEDS The rules you set up in TimeHub Employer Portal can be applied to a specific employee or groups of employees. Once the rules are applied, you are able to see the effect of these rules on the live data as well as the actual detail of who worked when and where they were.
THE TIMEHUB EMPLOYER PORTAL - YOUR DATA IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE You are able to view the daily transactions on screen and in reports for each employee through the TimeHub Employer Portal. Then at the end of the pay period, the hours worked, overtime, allowances and leave are collated and ready to be exported to your payroll software.
