4. Watch for Non-Verbal Cues
Sometimes the person in your
care may be unable to let you
know that they are in distress!
Keep an eye out for signs of
agitation or discomfort & other
non-verbal cues!
Their body language may be
telling you things they cannot
vocalize
5. Be Kind to Yourself
As a caregiver, it is easy to
ignore your own issues!
Avoid burning yourself out;
caregiving can and should be a
pleasant experience for both
parties!
Make sure to exercise, eat, and
relax to maintain a sense of
calm and positivity
