Solar panels would be an ideal energy source for Team Kholmurod in Tajikistan due to high sun hours throughout the year. Graphs show sun hours ranging from 300-350 hours per month, providing around 11 hours of sunlight daily. While wind speeds are low and inconsistent in Tajikistan, making wind power less viable, solar energy could power a house given the plentiful sunlight. Water quality is poor due to annual flooding that contaminates water sources with dirt, rocks and mud.

Water Quality Water quality in Tajikistan is not good. Most of it is because of the flooding that occurs every year. That causes all the dirty soil, rocks, and mud to flow into the clean water sources
