The 75th ASRM Scientific Congress and Expo is mere days away. For the entire ART
community and for TMRW it is the event of the year. We put together a checklist to
help everyone make the most of his or her time there.
The following checklist is designed to be of value for first-timers or even the busy seasoned
traveler who enjoys a little assistance in preparing for the meeting to make the best use of their
time at ASRM and possibly explore Philadelphia. Here are eight ways to get ready for the
ASRM Scientific Congress and Expo
	 PLAN YOUR SCHEDULE NOW
You may not have the bandwidth to make those decisions when you arrive. The preliminary program is available online and
ready to review for your event plan. Our top favorites:
	 BRING BUSINESS CARDS
Avoid the rookie mistake by leaving them behind. Put them in your wallet, bag or card case today.
KEEP AS CLOSE TO YOUR DAILY ROUTINE AS POSSIBLE
If you run or do yoga first thing in the morning, make time for it at ASRM. Your routine can help stave off the effects of travel
and disruption from new schedules and mealtimes that may be very different from those of your typical days schedule.
For runners, try the Fairmont Park route. For yogis, try Philly Yoga Factory or Wake Up Yoga.
BRING AT LEAST ONE EXTRA OUTFIT
You dont want to have to run out of options for last-minute wardrobe changes.
MAKE PLANS TO MEET OLD FRIENDS AND FORMER COLLEAGUES NOW
Find a protected time, pick a location near the convention center or a special place, and schedule it before you get there.
For an authentic beer hall, try Brauhaus Schmitz. For a coffee fix, local favorite La Colombe is nearby. For a modern cocktail,
The Franklin takes some work to find, but its worth it.
	 DRINK WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY
In time and with water, everything changes. Leonardo Da Vinci.
	 BRING A PORTABLE CHARGER
You wont want to have to hover over an outlet if your phone runs out of battery.
	 TAKE A BREAK FOR HISTORY
You likely will have very little free time. But, if you do, remember that Philadelphia is the birthplace of the United States. Find
time to see the Liberty Bell (526 Market St.), tour the Constitution Center (525 Arch St.), or whatever interests you most.
