If we played a role as consumer in Web 1.0, we are now playing sharing roles within Social Network platforms by sharing original, meaningful content such as photos, news, videos and personal statuses instead of just consuming or copying others' posts. With big data, there is a tremendous amount of duplicated, useless data that is time-consuming and labor-intensive to interpret and analyze, so it is important to share unique, valuable information to avoid wasting time and resources.
