- 1. Natural Disasters A LITTLE DISASTER! Today, in this little article, I will talk about the earthquakes, which is a natural disaster, product from the plates tectonic, that moves backward and forward, producing a lot of kinetic energy and let it free in the moment that it cant resist. The rift between two plates is called Fault. Regularly, each fault have its own mountain chain that is developed by the crash of the plates. Each fault have a name, and in Central America, in Mexico, we have the interaction of 5 plates: Cocos plate, Pacific plate, Caribbean plate, North Americas plate and Riveras plate. This plates exist in all of the surface of the earth and its movement produces the earthquakes. The earthquakes exist in all the world, and if it could be appear, the damage is too bad. It is measured in a scale called Righter scale, and this measure the power with the plates was moved. The place where the earthquake begins, is denominated Epicenter, and it stay active while the plate collides with the other plates.
