The city is well known for its French Creole Architecture as the city is named after Philippe d' Orl辿ans, Duke of Orl辿ans, Regent of France. Here you will find fine cuisine, music (the birthplace for Jazz music), festivals and celebrations and the famous New Orleans Mardi Gras that is held annually in this "most unique" city.
