This study examined the effects of transformational leadership behaviors on followers' trust in their leader, satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behaviors. The authors analyzed data from over 700 employees and found that transformational leadership was positively related to increased levels of trust in the leader, follower job satisfaction, and organizational citizenship behaviors. Specifically, transformational leadership behaviors like idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration were linked to higher levels of trust, satisfaction, and citizenship among followers.
