This document discusses the development and optimization of polymer-based transistors and microfluidic devices for biosensor applications. Key points:
1) Organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) were fabricated using the conducting polymer PEDOT:PSS as the channel material between gold electrodes. OECTs were optimized with a channel thickness of 200nm.
2) The OECTs exhibited typical transistor characteristics when measuring drain current (Ids) in response to varying drain (Vds) and gate (Vgs) voltages.
3) The OECT glucose sensors showed a normalized response when measuring the change in drain current after adding glucose solutions of varying concentrations.
4) A flexible polymer micromixer device
