Meaning of Transport & Transportation System
Transport is a facility consisting of the means and equipment necessary for the
movement of passengers or goods.
A transportation system is a system for moving persons or goods consisting of three
components like vehicle (equipment), the guide way (links and nodes that together
from network) & operation plan (schedules, or timetables, crew assignments &
control systems).
