Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital: The
Prayer/Wish Tree took 6 miles of rolled steel to
form the trunk and foliage. Made in sections to
allow transport to through the chapel this
centrepiece is used to attach ribbons of ‘hope’.

Love lock is one of those things where couples lock an object
mostly on bridges and after locking this, they throw away the
key mostly in a lake or a river. This is done as the representation
of the unbreakable love of the couples. This activity has become
very popular from last some decades.
Vodootvodny Canal is a 4 km long and 30-60 km wide canal
located in downtown Moscow. The bridge across this canal in
Moscow in Russia has several artificial love trees where padlocks
have been locked. These artificial trees are made of iron and are
good enough to hold the load of the locks.

The majestic Oak of Life is a forged and welded copper
sculpture. Its height is about 5m, width – 4m. The foot and
branches of the Oak are inhabited by many birds, animals and
insects. Even a very attentive researcher will need a lot of time
and maximum attention to find all twenty-two inhabitants of
the magic tree

Memorial
was unveiled on
the evening of
the 21st
November 2018,
44 years to the
day that the
attack happened
at two pubs on
New Street

Birmingham 21 Memorial
Working in collaboration with network rail and artist
Anuradha Patel, m-tec have fabricated and installed the
poignant trees in memory of the victims of the
Birmingham Pub Bombings on the 44th anniversary of
the attack. The memorial consisted of three 15ft trees
fabricated from a blend of corten steel and stainless steel
resting in iroko wood planters

been laser cut into the
underside of the steel leaves
to act as a lasting memory
to their friends and family

The Dublin Tree of Life
A dying Macrocarpa (more commonly known as Monterey
cypress) has been transformed into a work of art, a canvas
for dozens of sculptures of wildlife
The council hired award-winning UK sculptor Tommy
Craggs to transform the tree, believed to be 200-years-
old, into an eye-catching feature.
