A survey of over 3000 training and HR executives found that 91% plan to increase their use of virtual training in 2013, with 33% expecting an increase of over 25%. The top virtual learning environments cited were customer/product training (64%), new hire onboarding (62%), and administrative topics (57%). The primary benefits of virtual training were seen as convenience, cost savings in travel and time, and the ability to involve more participants. Most respondents wanted to offer more engaging training materials.
