About our Client:
Our client is a well-established Wireless Broadband, Cyber-Security & IP networking solutions provider to the
DOD/Federal Government. The company has cracked the code in areas of network security that have
traditionally been problem areas for the DOD. With business relationships spanning decades, they are
currently capitalizing on the current trends focused on military spec crypto solutions for tactical and non-tactical
networking.
This particular position will be responsible for the US Air Force business development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
 Interface with entities like AFNIC (Air Force Network Integration Center), Air Force Space Command,
Air Force Materiel Command and the Air Force Civil Engineering Command among others.
 You will be the product or solution evangelist for solutions addressing Cyber Security for base
communication networks. This will involve traditional networking, wireless mesh communications,
information assurance, securing building automation systems, installation surveillance systems among
other areas.
 This is a currently funded area within the DOD and little change is expected in this arena due to
information assurance mandates across the DOD
 The most common points of contact will be USAF base commanders and facility officers, program
office executives and officers from AFNIC and the AF Space Command. You should also expect some
involvement with the Air Force Civil Engineering Command.
 Create a collaborative environment between program offices, the facilities and the sources of funding
for projects involving COTS, DIACAP, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Energy Systems, Base
Security and related areas.
Job Requirements:
 Extensive knowledge of the Air Force budget and acquisition processes
 Strong understanding of Cyber IT programs and acquisitions with the USAF.
 Experience with Interagency communications and collaboration (Air Force Civil Engineers, AFNIC,
th
AFMC, AFSPC, 24 Air Force, Pentagon, DOD, JITC)
 Domain Knowledge in areas like USAF Facilities Management, Network Security, Network based
Energy Management Systems, Surveillance Systems, Air Force Acquisitions and Procurement,
Program Management, etc.
 Strong strategic relationship building skills and experience.
 Well organized, and results-oriented.
 Excellent written and verbal skills
 Possess leadership qualities and good interpersonal and communications skills
