Trudy is excited for her friend Lily's upcoming birthday party. She wants to find the perfect gift but is unsure what to get. Her cousin Anna suggests an outfit of pink blouse, jeans, pink shoes and a blue headband for the party. Trudy plans to visit the mall near Lily's house to look in the technology section, hoping to buy Lily a new digital camera on sale as a replacement for the one she lost at school.

- 2. Hello, I am Trudy and I´m 12 years old. I like to play with my friends and watch movies whith my parents. I like to cook and sleep a lot of like a Cliffore, my dog. Cliffore is very big and too lazy. Sometimes Cliffore breaks off my toys but, I don´t care, sometimes. Cliffore sleeps with me on the bed, I love it.
- 3. I also like to go to my friends´ birthday because the music is great and the cake is delicious. In the next weekend is the Lily's birthday and she invited me to her party, but I don´t know what I can give her. I'll tell my mom if she can help me to find something to give to my friend in her birthday.
- 4. Yesterday I was with my cousin Anna and I asked her about what could I wear for that day. She was in Europe last summer and she knows about fashion. she said me that I should go with a pink blouse and jeans, pink shoes and blues headband. It’s not bad.
- 5. Today is a sunny day. I will walk in the park, and I will visit Lily in her house. That place is near a mall. I´ll go see what gifts I can buy maybe I´ll go to the technology section because I want to give her a new digital camera that is on sale. Lily lost her camera in the school, so it should be the best gift for her!
