TTAK.KO-11.0227-Part2ii Preface 1 Purpose As the smart factory technology becomes important and interesting area in the global industry, Korea Government promotes the development and deployment of the smart factory technology for the small companies. The reference model for information management can accelerate the diffusion of the smart factory in the industry. The standard is to define the interoperability guideline for information management of the smart factory based on production resources (4M1E). The model can be utilized to implement the concept of the smart factory, to manage various kinds of information, and to provide business services. 2 Summary 4M1E means production resources including man, method, material, machine, and energy / environment. The existing factories can be smart through real time data integration for production resources of 4M1E. It is necessary to develop the interoperability guideline for the smart factory technology based on production resources (4M1E), which consists of 2 layers including the physical world of production resources 4M1E and control, information analysis and management, and business service. 3 Relationship to Reference Standards - None.
