The final project analyzes 20 7th grade students of varying demographics and learning styles. It will immerse students in a virtual recreation of Vatican City in Second Life, allowing them to experience what it was like for Michelangelo to travel there. Students will see some of his works and receive a webquest assignment to complete by the following Friday along with a podcast to listen to and discuss the next day. The class will introduce students to Second Life, give a virtual tour of Vatican City, assign the webquest, and encourage reviewing its sources.
