Turner Construction worked with Jim Alekson on the 2200 Westlake Project in Seattle and provides a strong recommendation for future projects. We would like to extend our sincere recommendation for Jim on any future construction projects and also express our desire to work further with him. Jim worked with Turner, the General Contractor, as a true ally and team member to bring a difficult project from the conceptual process through construction. The 2200 project was a 1.1MM GSF project that included 6 floors of underground parking, two levels of retail, the Pan Pacific Hotel (138 Units) and 261 units of high end condos. I was involved with Jim during the design process and the construction phase. Jim worked with the City of Seattle to obtain some very complicated entitlements leading up to the building permit. During the course of construction he worked with signing retail lease agreements and coordinated those design changes with the construction process. He also directed the design team through major changes in programming due to changing market conditions. Combining the marketing of condos, build out of a hotel for foreign flag operator and San Francisco architect showed us the rare ability of a developer to not only complete a fast moving business deal, but to keep a very diverse team focused on the end product.
