Since my youth I have been practicing the art of painting as a hobby. The themes of my paintings are based on the maritime history of the passenger and merchant marine. My desire is, via the Dutch merchant marine and also the English merchant marine and tug boat history, to keep the maritime history of the 50's and 60's alive. My aim is to reach the historical correctness of the maritime subjects of my paintings and to show them in spectacular environments by playing with the colors or to show them in a particular way. The two techniques I am using are painting in oils or watercolor.
Well, have a look and judge for yourself and you are of course wholeheartedly invited to give a reaction in my guestbook.

The document discusses how modern consumer culture leads people to accumulate too many possessions. It notes that some people can no longer fit all their things in their homes and need to rent storage units. When the author recently moved, they realized they had become one of these "thing collectors." The overabundance of advertising encourages people to constantly buy the latest electronic devices and other items. Having too many possessions can cause people to lose appreciation for what they own. However, the document offers that individuals can cure this problem by seriously evaluating what they use and need, and donating extras to charities or those in need.
This document discusses relying on God's strength rather than human strength. It notes that God is able to do the most through people who recognize their own weakness and depend fully on divine strength. Examples are given of Moses, Jesus' disciples, and the author's daughter, who had to learn to depend on her father rather than try to walk independently. The conclusion encourages the reader to ask God for wisdom and strength rather than relying on their own abilities.
This document provides advice for parents on how to properly raise and discipline children. It contains tips such as never correcting a child without understanding the full situation, being mild and cheerful in their presence, following commands closely to ensure they are done properly, and never disappointing a child's trust or speaking impatiently when finding fault. The overall message is that gentle but consistent discipline and guidance can help children become well-adjusted adults.
The document questions why God and Jesus did not conform to societal norms and expectations in order to gain wider acceptance. It argues they could have advanced their work more easily if they had not challenged traditions or associated with outcasts. However, the conclusion acknowledges that God's ways are higher than human ways and it is not for people to dictate how God should act. We must trust that God knows what he is doing.

1. Tire safety is the number one priority of the company. Tires expire 4 years after the date of manufacture, which is stamped on the side of the tire.
2. It is important to check tire pressure regularly and not exceed the maximum pressure indicated for each tire, as under-inflation can cause overheating and failure.
3. Other factors like load weight and speed ratings should also be considered to ensure safe tire performance and avoid accidents.
