A 22-year-old woman presented with facial rash, photosensitivity, arthritis, oral ulcers, and edema. Testing revealed hematological abnormalities and positive ANA and anti-dsDNA antibodies. She was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) complicated by nephrotic syndrome. Treatment included steroids which improved symptoms.
