• According to the NationalWaterCommission, the phenomenon occurred between 5:30 and
06:00 pm CentralTime, reaching category 4 on the Fujita Scale improved. However, shortly
after the Civil Protection coordinator, Luis Felipe Puente Salas, adjusted the intensity to be
in Category 3.
• The same day 25, the Interior Ministry officially informed the twister left a preliminary
balance of 13 dead and 229 injured persons; and about 1,000 damaged homes, at least 110
of them with total losses.The balance of deaths rose to 14 people on May 27, losing life one
of the wounded hospitalized.
