This document summarizes the work of More Love Letters, an organization that spreads love through handwritten letters. They collect letter requests and have volunteers write letters that are mailed to people around the world to brighten their day. Notable initiatives include "Love Letter Bundles" containing 10-100 letters, and encouraging communities to write love letters in public spaces to be discovered. The movement has spread love to over 47 countries through the power of writing and mailing letters by hand.

Not another network. Not another app.
What she needs is really basic.
Simple. Bare-boned.& often forgotten in the race to get followers. & Likes.
Love. Pure, old-fashioned, never-goes-out-of-style Love.
Ridiculous, oozing, cannot-pack-this-thang-into-140-characters kind of love.

3. Hannah K. Brencher, 24, began leaving "love
letters" all over New York City in October 2010 as
an effort to extinguish her own feelings of
the start.
loneliness and depression. From coffee shops to
coat pockets and church pews, she left unsigned
notes strewn across the city with the hope that a
serendipitous moment might be sewn into the
days of those who found the letters.
Brencher began blogging about her letter leaving
experiences shortly after and promised a
handwritten letter to anyone who emailed her with
a mailing address. In the nine months that
followed, she wrote over 400 handwritten notes to
strangers around the globe. From the tragic
stories she found waiting in her inbox nearly every
morning, Brencher keyed into the fact that the
world could use more far more than her own love
letters.
The World Needs More Love Letters launched

7. I got a package today from The World Needs More Love Letters. I read every letter and
card twice and they truly brought tears to my eyes. I was sitting reading and crying, all
choked up. I could not believe others took the time to think of me this way. I cannot
begin to tell you how much this meant to me. I cannot thank you enough.
MARK
Mark was the recipient of a Love Letter Bundle right after a life-threatening surgery. His daughters best friend,
Nina, requested the letters for him.
I want to thank you guys for including my mother, Alenka, in your 12 Days of Love
Letter Writing. These letters meant so much to her. She kept them in a special folder
and would take them out and read one or two a day. She passed away in March but I
still read those They help me feel closer to her, and when I am having a particularly
rough day, they remind me that the world is full of decent, loving and compassionate
people.

9. I found this letter in the coffee shop on my college campus today (in Lancaster PA). The day had not at all gone as planned.
Today my mother was supposed to find out if she has cancer, and after my last class I was looking for a mentor of mine to talk to
about it. And, of course, she was not on campus. Knowing I had time to kill before work, but not enough to find someone else to
talk to, I walked over to the coffee shop to relax for a bit. As I sat my bag down, I found this letter on one of the chairs. It took all I
had not to cry when I read it. I was such an act of beauty in such a difficult time for me. I truly think that I was met to find this
letter.
RUSTIN

I came out to my parents about a month ago. My mother decided the best thing to do was to tell me I was giving up on my life
and throwing the towel in. Needless to say, they didnt really support my decision to come out. It took me 24 years to finally be
ok with who I am. I knew they wouldnt celebrate with me, but a little support would have been nice. The next day I went into
Starbucks and got some Iced VIA Coffeewhen I picked up the package I found a love letter. Inside it said, Keep your chin up.
You got that? Good! Sometimes all you need is to know someone loves you. Thanks. I needed this.

Hi, I had to e-mail you because I am so intrigued by your project. Heres my little story: yesterday I was having literally the worst
(bad bad bad!) day. Then, I walked into a bathroom at my university and found one of these letters. It was so nice and helped
me so muchto just feel okay about where Im at. I should have taken a picture but it didnt feel right wrecking the anonymity of
the moment. I left it where I found it so others could enjoy. I am going to write some letters now. I think what you are doing is the
best. Since my part of Florida hasnt been put on the map, I wanted you to know Pensacola, Florida has letters!
Keep it up. This is what the world needs!
