My name is Captain Tyson Greza and I serve as the Operations Manager for the Protective
Services team at the NASA lndependent Verification & Validation facility in West Virginia. I am writing
this letter regarding Grant Blaisdell who has worked for me on the protective services team since
September 3'd of 2013 and as a Lieutenant working directly under me since July of 2014.
Grant Blaisdell has been a hardworking and dedicated employee since day one of his
employment and has been an important member of our security police team. As a lieutenant, Blaisdell
directly supervises the security police officers at our site and is responsible for numerous duties,
including fingerprinting employees for background checks, inventorying weapons, ammo and
equipment, assuring all officers are properly groomed and equipped for their shifts, officer and post
inspections, as well as many more duties. Lt Blaisdell has personally created multiple educational
documents that are used by our protective services team on such topics as fire safety, security camera
coverage and terrorist organization overuiews which greatly benefit our team. Grant is trusted by his
subordinate officers, his fellow Lts as well as by myself and has a reputation for making good decisions
that benefit the team, often placing others before himself.
Grant Blaisdell is a good employee and a good person. He is a valued part of our security force
